Mr. Jaklitsch earned his BA in economics at the University of Maryland and completed his JD with honors at the same institution in 1983. Before establishing his own firm, he was an associate attorney with Jaklitsch and Covington, Eccleston and Seidler, and also served as Allstate Insurance Company house counsel.
Community-focused, Mr. Jaklitsch is former president of the University of Maryland Terrapin Club and has been a voting alumni of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society for more than three decades. He was president of the Maryland Gridiron Network, and co-hosted Terp Talk on ESPN Radio/CBS Radio.
